Southampton Airport Terminal Information

The 'New Southampton Airport' was opened in 1994 by HRH the Duke of York.

Over 1 million passengers pass through the airport each year flying to 33 different destinations.

Check-in desks are directly in front of you as you enter the building through the main doors.

Check in times should be checked on your ticket or with the individual airline. A general guide for check in at Southampton is:

• International and domestic flights - minimum 60 minutes prior to departure.
• MyTravel, TUI, First Choice and Thomas Cook holiday flights - minimum 2 hours prior to departure.

Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.

Flight departure information, including flight numbers are displayed on TV monitors located throughout the concourse.
